NAVI MUMBAI: Motorists of developing nodes, like Ulwe and Pushpak Nagar, will not have to scout around for fuel, as Cidco has offered land on lease for fuel stations. Both the nodes, located in the southern fringe of Navi Mumbai are in proximity to the international airport and Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, and do not have a fuel station despite a population of around two lakh. Residents have been making demands for fuel pumps for a long time.

Besides, another scheme has been launched, which offers 16 plots for residential- cum-commercial purposes at Kharghar, Kalamboli, and New Panvel. The plots will be allotted through e-tendering and e-auction process.

"The launch of two schemes is part of Cidco's ongoing effort to revive the real estate sector in Navi Mumbai and other sectors as well, for the use of petrol pumps and gas stations. As many as four plots out of eight are on offer in the developing Ulwe and Pushpak Nagar nodes, which will benefit a large chunk of population," said Cidco managing director Sanjay Mukherjee.
